We continue to face ever increasing numbers of extreme weather events, severe losses in biodiversity, massive displacement, and migration of global peoples, and many are not able to access basic quality community infrastructures such as neighborhood parks.
Arising from the Nature is Good Medicine Workshop on 5 September 2021, we call on IUCN and its Members to recognize the irreplaceable potential of nature-derived health services to individuals and society.
The large parks and green infrastructure presented here illustrate the diverse uses and many benefits of large urban parks across 30 major cities.
